My daughter Mariam and her 1.5-year-old sister recently visited a horse retreat, and the experience was truly remarkable. The retreat wouldn’t have been nearly as wonderful without our guide, a young woman who went above and beyond in every way. She showed constant care, respect, and complete dedication, working with full-hearted commitment and making sure every moment was special. She brought so much warmth to our evening, helping us feel connected to the horses and truly enjoy ourselves.

She even took the time to help the children create small crafts, and we were lucky enough to join a birthday celebration. Both of my daughters were fully included in the activities, and our youngest even received her own snack meal thanks to the kindness of the staff.

I highly recommend this retreat to anyone, and my sincere thanks go to the guide for making it such an unforgettable experience.

Welcome to Skill Lab, a hands-on creative camp held at Al Mawakeb School – Al Khawaneej, where kids (ages 4+) dive into a new adventure every afternoon from 3 to 5 PM, Monday to Thursday.

Each week is packed with exciting themes:

- Baking Mondays on the bus

- Sew your own iPad case, pillow, or accessories

- Build cool science projects like handcrafted radios or water timers

- Create hygiene kits like lip balms, solid shampoos, conditioner bars, and full dental kits

- Explore arts and crafts with a twist
